…For one to successfully have intercultural communication, which requires transformational psychology, there must be the inclusion of interdisciplinary research. But, remember that values stem from the fact that we are children of God (John 1:12).
Interdisciplinary research has in common with all disciplinary research an overall plan or approach.[1] It is a decision-making process that is heuristic, iterative, and reflective.
In other words, being eclectic or diverse requires discipline – example of interdisciplinary studies.[2] As Interdisciplinary RESEARCH explains, STEP 1 helps define the problem and/or state the research:[3]
· Researchable in an ID sense?
· What is the SCOP, prevention, treatment, effects, etc.
· Is it open‐ended too complex for one discipline to solve?[4]
